Introducing the Port Adelaide BOATFEST to be held on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 October 2018 from 10am to 4pm daily. This event will bring back wooden and heritage boats, working shipwrights, steam engines, parades of sail on the inner harbour, kids' activities, street markets, open days at the Museums in the Port, art and artisans.

The event will incorporate Adelaide’s first South Australian Seafood Celebration in the Flour Shed at Hart’s Mill with an innovative seafood dinner on Saturday 13 October. This special dinner will be curated by award winning Chef, Paul Baker of the Botanic Gardens Restaurant.

Enjoy land and water displays, masterclasses in seafood, beer and wine, local music and special Museum programs

 
 

 
 

During the days, visitors will be able to wander the displays that are to be placed on land and on water. Enjoy the wooden and heritage boats program or visit the displays and take a closer look at the vessels berthed at New Port Quays. There will be masterclasses and demonstrations in seafood, beer and wine, and the SA Aviation, National Railway and SA Maritime Museums will all have special programs throughout the weekend.

Local music in a variety of styles will also keep young and old entertained and the nautical themed event will be embraced by the entire precinct. Sip on exquisite Lake Breeze wines and Pirate Life beers, who are true Port locals, and delight in a handpicked selection of caterers serving delicious food with some innovative signature seafood dishes!
